What is ZOLO?

ZOLO is a tech and e-waste recycling company. We help businesses accelerate their transition to circular economy through sustainable and secure tech recycling.

What do you do?

We collect and recycle your old tech and e-waste, wipe data securely and keep e-waste from landfill — the most secure and sustainable way to manage your end-of-life devices.

Are you a charity?

ZOLO is not a charity, we are a purpose-driven business with a strong commitment to creating positive change through sustainable, ethical and secure tech recycling. We have a company goal of donating 20 devices to communities in need per month and we also help fund organisations tackling the climate crisis in Australia.

What is your data erasure process?

We take leadership on data security through our ZOLO Protect™ Initiative. The devices we collect go through a secure and compliant data erasure process which complies with data protection regulations.

How does it work?

Chat to us or book a collection here.

Collection - ZOLO will visit on-site to inspect and collect the items
Secure Storage - After collection, we will notify you once the devices have arrived in our secured recycling facility.
Compliance Checklist - We will provide a detailed list / report of what’s been collected (specifying serial numbers, model, condition etc) for compliance.
Data Erasure and Certification - Initiating the data erasure process and issuing all reports and certifications.

What happens to the devices you collect?

We operate on a circular economy model where we maximise the lifecycle of technology as much as possible. We refurbish old tech and give it new life. We then re-introduce them to the second hand market, creating a platform for enterprises and individuals to acquire technology in a much more cost-effective approach. Solidifying our circular economy pillar and promoting re-use to alleviate pressure from the environment. For devices that can no longer be recovered, our technicians would dismantle and recover the valuable materials and we then connect them to material specialists to support new product generation. We also have a company goal of connecting 20 devices per month as part of our social impact promise.
